AI Assessment Email Threats – Logix InfoSecurity
Traditional email security solutions are failing to detect cyber threats. Parallelly, the advent of Gen-AI is helping attackers craft sophisticated phishing emails. Naturally, users are curious to know how AI and ML based engines can detect attacks. Logix, in their webinar presented the current trend of cybersecurity and showed how AI-powered email security has superior threat detection capabilities.
The webinar, conducted by Sumedh Sarang and Prashant Mudbidri, was received with an overwhelming response.
In collaboration with Check Point Harmony, Logix has built an HEC (Harmony email collaboration) architecture. Any email, before reaching the users mailbox will get routed to this system, where they will be scanned for potential threats. The HEC architecture currently supports 10 applications including Microsoft, SharePoint teams, Dropbox, Gmail, Google drive and Google docs.
Further, the webinar discussed case studies of distinct types of attacks including BEC, phishing, quishing, and how the HEC architecture comes into picture to defend users from it. A recent trend that has been observed in cyber security threats that leverages the holiday season to lure victims. For instance, an Amazon voucher asking the user to click and redeem prizes, could be containing a phishing link. HEC acts as a defence line to protect users from such attacks as well.
Lastly, we urged webinar participants to integrate the HEC architecture in their work systems to avail their ongoing bumper offerings.
