In a critical renewal decision, a major PSU Engineering and manufacturing company in India opted to continue their business email journey with Logix Zimbra.

The customer was hosted on Zimbra On-premise setup which Logix deployed and managed for period of 5 years. And this contract was supposed to end October 2024.

Customer was looking forward to adopting Microsoft 365 and floated a tender to close on the Microsoft 365 solution.

But the Microsoft bidder faced challenges in migrating within the stipulated cost and time.

  1. Migrating such large data
  2. Time and cost involved in this migration
  3. Appropriate technical resources needed for this migration

And these factors proved to be deterrents in giving the contract to the Microsoft bidder and finalizing the shift to Microsoft 365.

Ultimately, the client continued its services Zimbra, renewing the contract for an additional two years.

The technology stack of the PSU company comprises of

  • VM ware for virtualization platform
  • Barracuda for archival
  • Zimbra for mail platform
  • Cisco for email security

The renewal order, officially confirmed on January 15, 2024, is a great testimonial to our continued partnership and commitment to delivering quality email solutions.
